Located in the control tower of this former Lancaster base, the RAF Wickenby Memorial Museum recounts the history of the station.

The museum was opened in the upstairs room of the original watch office (the Control Tower) in the 1990s by the owners of the airfield, and has received a steady stream of visitors since then. The museum commemorates the Bomber Boys who flew from Wickenby during the Second World War, and especially the 1,143 who never returned from their mission. The museum features many interesting artefacts related to RAF Wickenby and the Lancaster Bombers and its crews.

A large number of photographs tell the story of post-war Wickenby, off-duty Wickenby, the Womens Auxiliary Air Force, and the Lancaster aircraft. They also feature a Wickenby crew who tell the story of the crew of the Lancaster ND410, which was shot down over the Netherlands on 19 February 1944 with all lives lost. An extensive archive of photographs and documents is also available for study and research, but by prior arrangement only.

A memorial near the tower commemorates No. 12 and 626 Squadrons. The airfield has remained operational and is currently used by light aircraft.

There is a cafe on site.
